10 Days Shimla Manali Solang Amritsar Tour Package Overview

The 10 Days Shimla Manali Solang Amritsar Tour Package is a great one way circuit of about 1,150 km starting from Chandigarh and ending at Amritsar. The tourists are taken through the colonial Ridge of Shimla and the snow line of Kufri, the temples and Solang Valley of Manali, the tea gardens and monasteries around Dharamshala, the pine ridges of Dalhousie and Khajjiar and finally the Golden Temple of Amritsar. The itinerary is a complete unhurried tour of Himachal’s best known hill stations finished off with Punjab’s most sacred city.

    Travel Time

This 10-day circuit breaks up the longer drive days with dedicated local sightseeing days in each town, so no single day feels rushed.

    Route Distance Travel Time
Chandigarh to Shimla 120 km 4–5 Hours
Shimla to Manali 250 km 8–9 Hours
Manali to Dharamshala 220 km 7–8 Hours
Dharamshala to Dalhousie 120 km 4 Hours
Dalhousie to Amritsar 200 km 6 Hours

    Best Time To Visit

The circuit covers several climates in one trip – from hill-station cold to the heat of Amritsar's plains – so the shoulder seasons work best overall.

March–June: Pleasant hill weather throughout, with Amritsar warming up by late May.
July–September: Green valleys, though occasional monsoon delays are possible on the hill legs.
October–February: Clear autumn skies, with snow in Kufri, Manali and Solang from December, and cool, comfortable days in Amritsar.
